Proverbs 1:20-33James 3:1-12• Mark 8:27-38
We are street wisdom, the time to remember; street hockey, hide and go seek, cornerstone, kindergarten, playground, recess, finger painting, tricycle, swim, run and not to weary. Our wildhood is for today.
Wisdom cries out in the streets, to the foolish predators, and sacred life. Lady wisdom is sage, prophetess, street, preacher, apocalyptic vision, universal understanding, the enemy, capture.
Wisdom of heart is to love all creatures, share they mystery. God child, is the heir.
Those who listen will be secure, wisdom heeded, covenant, falling rising, promise, judgement, converge, diverge. Wisdom is divine, human, male, female, non-binary, sorrow, laughing, panic and warning, rebuke and reflex. Wisdom is sympathy, gift, scoffing, knowledge, patience.
Wisdom is tongue of fire, fascinating, frustrating, danger, read, audience, temptation, literature.
Wisdom is offending and invite, provoke and appreciate.
Wisdom is Jesus, “Who do people say that I am?”
Wisdom is scandal, confession, predict, offer, bleak, light, call to be, disciple, lose life, gain courage. All follow, all marvel, the Christ walk.
Wisdom is cross bearers, follow feet, existential, practical, sprit, imagination, proclamation, congregation, community.
Wisdom words in the woods of the sermon, reality, urgency, decision, life, one, many, whole crossing guard, follow me, today.
