We are the Ladder. There is ascending and descending up and down.
I remember a few years ago, repelling down Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe
There is ascending and descending up and down. There was a Ladder
There are times in history we hear the whisper of mother and father. Stay alive, speak a half truth to prevail. Hear, the whisper, be full of awe, see heaven opened, angels ascending and descending, then and now. Hear, the whisper, a rock for a pillow, awake, to wisdom of father and mother, standing above and below the ladder. There is God in the up and down, top and bottom of the ladder, heaven and earth, theophany’s above and below.
Hear the whisper, all who are led by the Spirit, are children of God.
Hear the whisper, God dwells inside, spirit unleashed, mysticism reborn, transcend, ill fated Icarus, grip the spirit of life.
Here the whisper, when do weeds come in? Seeds are sown, these are disciples. Seeds sown inside us. Confront the challenge planting, confronting enemy. Opening ecclesiology, anthropology.
Hear the whisper, let anyone with ear listen.
Hear the whisper, weeds growing together, judgement then and now, good and evil
Faith and hope. Look at the hurting and impatient world. God’s realm completed, this realm is thriving in us.
We are the ladder, hear the whisper now!
