Safe and loving care is provided to infants and toddlers aged 0-3 in our nursery. Little ones engage in fun and playful activities with toys and games during our Sunday service.
Kids at Church
Following the opening part of the service and the passing of the peace, older children move into their own worship space. We use the GO curriculum, to draw the children into a time of worship and wonder. We focus on the stories of our faith, children’s faith-based questions, and religious celebrations in a variety of creative ways (story-telling, crafts, and songs). Children may join in Children’s Worship at any point during the year.
Youth @ the Manor
As kids grow up their needs and interests during Sunday worship changes. That’s why Manor Road has a Youth worship time for those ages 11 and up. The youth choose the focus for each season to explore deeper questions and conversations about faith and community. Youth also meet for social events like games, movie nights, and Sky Zone. They contribute to the life of the congregation by reading during worship, singing and volunteering at church events.
Manor Road United Church is on the traditional home of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Metis Nation of Ontario, Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation and Six Nations of the Grand River. May we be connected to the heartbeat of the Spirit as one.
