We are the Jesus Hands.
The hands, left right, the hands were used for counting, in ancient days, the hands were once used for shaking, they speak to greeting, to working. Now it is time to grab a hand.
It is said in the early church everyone offered a hand. Everything was held in common.
The discipes shared wealth, held things in common. There was one church unified, one heart and soul.
One human story of great grace, with the power of the spirit. There was a the favour of neighbours.
The early disciples gave their testimony, great need, open mission, unity, blessing, witness for heart and soul.
They were and we are called to walk in the light.
We are called to walk in life after easter, with joy and courage, year after year.
We meet the Jesus, who breathed on them. We confront Thomas, non-belief, belief, doubt, questions.
“Can God die?” Seeking answers. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
Easter is real, we are the Jesus hands.
