We are the beginning. Every day of our lives we encounter first steps, first steps for me was 31 years ago I was ordained in Owen Sound Ontario in the Bayshore Hockey Arena along with 21 Candidates, there 1500 people in attendedance. It was a glorious time of first steps. In the beginning the first steps, God created an opening in the formless chaos. “Let there be light!”The first steps of identity in time and place mark the beginning of our relationship with creator and created.  When is the beginning. The absolute beginning of light. The first steps, Light is energy, light is knowledge, light is love. The first steps how we greet each other. The first steps of our appeal to order, mutual agreement to overcome the fractious community with the power of the God who is love. We stand in the first steps of Trinity, God who is creating, God who offers redeeming grace, God who is sustaining love. The first steps of disciples who climb the mountain to get a better view. The first steps where Jesus sent out the twelve. The beginning of beginnings of their first steps to risk, to heal and go the world to mend, restore and build the bridge of living grace and compassion  The first steps to venture into the terrifying world in the beginning of Maiden, Midwife and Chrone. We are never alone, thanks be to God.

  1. Very good site you have here but I was wanting to know if you
knew of any user discussion forums that cover the
same topics discussed here? I’d really like to be a
part of community where I can get advice from other experienced people that share the
same interest. If you have any suggestions, please
let me know. Bless you! asmr 0mniartist

  2. First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
I have had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting
my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to
15 minutes are usually wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions
    or tips? Thanks! 0mniartist asmr
