Mark 11:1-11; Isaiah 50:4-9aPsalm 31:9-16 • Philippians 2:5-11 •Mark 14:22-34
We are the Village, the place to gather. Where we find the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker.
The village the place of Jesus, the footprints of messiah.
Go into the village. This is the Jesus movement, tradition, destiny. Go into the village. Ride into Jerusalem. Triumph, meet death, challenge life. Letting go, find God will, things to come, in the village.
Blessed is the coming. Tell the story, hear, last time first steps. This road to death and life. The is road to listen with hungry ears.
Living in the world, attend, question, answer, bold power to deliver.
Humbled self, intimate portrait of self emptying, humiliation, exaltation, who, what, where, now is the time nature, call of community.
Listen, tale of sorrow ballad of power. Voice to disrupt our lives, transform our hearts. Death and beyond, discern beginning. My God, why forsaken, into your hands, commend. Is it finished?
The story, the language, door way to holy week. The hinge of opening to the deep hope in people’s lives today.
