Proverbs 22:1-2, 8-9, 22-23James 2:1-10, (11-13), 14-17 • Mark 7:24-37
We are blessed, as see the gift of grace, hope, to be the bridge to mend and heal.
We are blessed in our act of giving, as rich and poor, in wisdom, we discern loss and grace.
The generous are blessed, in the moments of fear, word and reward, vision and covenant, to be redeemed from slavery to promise.
We are blessed to share bread with the poor, in relationship, see with the lense of God love, Sabbath justice, and to be neighbour today.
God chose the poor to be rich in faith, for the widows, the orphans, all the assembly to respect and stand together.
We are blessed when we see a person bowed down, to witness, saving power, outside and inside. We are blessed when we find messianic mission in Jesus.
We are blessed when we look up to see down, to say “be opened”. Jesus heals, we speak, we act to invite, give voice, to ‘God with us now!”
