On Saturday, April 23, Manor Road folk and members of the community gathered together for a fun filled, all ages evening of song, dance and comedy. The night began with a delicious homemade supper of chili, salad, rolls and desserts. This all ages event is a perennial favourite. In attendance are the very young (as young as 2) and the very young at heart (at 92). This annual fundraiser certainly qualifies as a “fun raiser”. There was live music performances, singers and even swing dancers. New this year was the raffle of a variety of themed-gift baskets. In the spirit of giving back (Manor Road is currently having a “Season of Sharing“), a donation jar was quickly filling with contributions to Out of the Cold. The evening was capped off with everyone energetically taking to the dance floor.
