Since time immemorial, indigenous peoples have occupied and cared for this land. Manor Road United Church is on the traditional home of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Metis Nation of Ontario, Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation and Six Nations of the Grand River. We seek to rebuild right relations with First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples, to learn from them, and to live on this land with respect and gratitude for its bounty. May we be connected to the heartbeat of the Spirit as one. Seek the hand of the Creator, find the voice of the maker.
September 25, 2021 – With Thanksgiving just around the corner, join Chef Mia De Ala as she whips up a delicious apple pumpkin pecan pie this week on the Friday Speaker Series.
